I caught fire with functional training when I stumbled into a CrossFit box in Miami in 2017. I had completely forgotten how much fun it is to climb ropes, pull oneself up on pull-up bars, or walk on one's hands upside down. I could be a child again, have fun, and still call it training. After 10 years in the gym, I discovered a new passion for sports and since then have complemented conventional strength training with functional training. I also liked training together in a group, rather than avoiding each other in machine parks.

​

Until 2019, I worked as a technical model maker in the motorsport sector. However, when I had to give up my profession due to an allergy, it was clear to me that as a person who loves movement, I had to continue with an active occupation.

​

So I began my training as an Athletic Performance Sports Coach. Since then, I have been delighted every day when I see people leave my training more carefree and lighter.

​

I look forward to welcoming you to a group class or in a personal training session. If you have questions about nutrition, I will help you create a plan and support you in making gradual changes.

​

If you don't know how to get back into training after an injury and physiotherapy, I will help you step by step to become fit again.

From a very young age, sport has been my constant companion, a passion that has journeyed with me throughout my life. My athletic endeavors have been diverse, encompassing the precision of gymnastics, the teamwork of soccer, the dedication of strength training, and the intensity of CrossFit. Each discipline has contributed to my comprehensive understanding of fitness and the human body.

In recent years, my focus has sharpened on CrossFit and functional fitness. These disciplines stand out for their holistic approach to health, emphasizing movements and workouts that translate into strength and endurance for everyday life activities. It's not just about looking good; it's about building a body that's as strong and capable as it is resilient.

​

Parallel to my personal fitness journey, I have been coaching for over two decades. This experience has allowed me to guide others in discovering their potential, transforming their lives through the power of movement, and fostering a community where everyone pushes each other to be their best. My coaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that fitness should be accessible, enjoyable, and life-enhancing.

Tim De Krijger

Physiotherapist, Performance Trainer, and Orthomolecular Therapist

My passion for sports has always driven me, and kickboxing is my personal sport of choice. My journey into training began right after school when I pursued a sports education and became a certified fitness and performance trainer. Since then, I have helped numerous people achieve their fitness and performance goals, whether it be preparing for military and police service, losing weight, or getting fit for the summer.

​

One of my greatest passions is working with athletes, especially in competition preparation. I had the privilege of working with Melvin Manhoef, from whom I gained valuable experience. In 2013, I began my training as a physiotherapist, and in 2017 and 2018, I was the head physiotherapist for the Dutch karate team, which I accompanied to the Junior European and World Championships. I have also led the medical care of football teams, with my practice supporting many national top athletes.

​

My specialty is postoperative rehabilitation and the treatment of sports injuries. I firmly believe in the power of active therapy to support people in their recovery and beyond.

Michael Twikkeler

Physiotherapist

Hi, I’m Michael Twikkeler – a physiotherapist with a passion for movement and sports.
I’m excited to be part of this team and to support you on your journey toward pain-free movement and a better quality of life.

I earned my Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. Since then, I’ve specialized in sports physiotherapy – particularly in fitness and football – as well as shoulder rehabilitation.

My philosophy: Rehabilitation is teamwork.
Through targeted treatments, active guidance, and personalized care, I help you reach your goals, build strength, and enjoy your favorite activities without limitations.
